I recently played with cultivating a sourdough starter. The challenge (other than remembering to feed it!) is: what to do with all that discarded starter?!
This recipe is my best answer. It uses quite a bit of starter and my kid likes it. #winning
- 500 grams unfed sourdough starter (about 2 cups)
- 40 grams pasteurized egg whites
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil , light flavored
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2-4 tablespoons water
- Cooking spray
